Sentro ha Pagpauswag ha Panginabuhi, Inc.

Sentro ha Pagpauswag ha Panginabuhi, Incorporated (SPPI) also known as the Center for Local Economy Development, was born out of the Local Economy Development Program (LEDP) that was working in sixty Barangays, in eight municipalities, in the three provinces of Samar Island.

Established in 2007 as an NGO, SPPI continues the work of LEDP, and aims to enhance economic development, local institutions, gender relations and the environment to bring appropriate development to the rural communities of Samar Island.

SPPIs initiatives include enterprise development, livelihoods improvement and diversification, micro-finance and livelihood credit, sustainable agriculture and fisheries livelihood programs, participatory development governance, gender and household relations and ecological resource management.
