HOPE Worldwide - Philippines
HOPE worldwide Philippines Inc. is a non-profit, non-government organisation that has been serving children in especially difficult circumstances since 1993. Recognising the need to fight child abuse, HOPE has developed programs which include advocacy and education for the prevention, as well as treatment and healing, of sexually and physically abused children.HOPE worldwide Philippines’ comprehensive system of child welfare touches over 100,000 poor children and youth annually, and maintains for them a sustained safety net while tackling long-term problems that perpetuate child abuse, children in emergencies, and poverty.
HOPE has existing centers in the community of Baseco, Port Area, Manila and Payatas Quezon City; center based treatment facility for abused children in Binan, Laguna; Disaster Response Program based in Cebu City; and advocacy programs all over Metro Manila and many key cities in the Philippines.
